Synagogue to recognize University's year-long celebration of Fifty Years After Nuremberg (Released: 4/19/96)

Bruce Stave, professor of history and the director for the Center of Oral History, will lecture at the Congregation B nai Israel in ROCKVILLE as part of the University of Connecticut s year long celebration of Fifty Years After Nuremberg: Human Rights and the Rule of Law.

His lecture, at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 28 at 54 Talcott Ave., will focus on the uses of oral history along with his latest project which he initiated, Witnesses to Nuremberg: An Oral History of the War Crime Trials. The project consists of individuals who share their experiences and reflect on the meaning of Nuremberg justice.
