(NOTE: UConn's observance of Fifty Years After Nuremberg: Human Rights and the Rule of Law began last October with the dedication of the Thomas J. Dodd Research Center and it will end in October with a major academic conference on human rights. Events are planned throughout the year, most open to the public. THE PRESERVATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS IS IMPORTANT TO EVERYONE. WITH THE THEME FIFTY YEARS AFTER NUREMBERG: HUMAN RIGHTS AND THE RULE OF LAW, THE UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT HAS PLANNED A YEAR OF SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS ON HUMAN RIGHTS, INCLUDING LECTURES AND ARTS EXHIBITS, AND A MAJOR CONFERENCE IN OCTOBER.
