The Evelyn Parcells Memorial Lecture was established by family and friends in memory of Ruth Parcells Foote (1919-1992). Foote was a graduate of UConn s Class of 1942. The series honors her dedication to righteousness in everyday practices and brings distinguished thinkers to speak to general audiences at the university on current moral issues.
