STORRS, Conn. -- The 19th annual Confratute, a summer professional development program for educators, will take place at the University of Connecticut in Storrs from July 8-19.
Confratute combines the best aspects of a conference and an institute, focusing on enrichment teaching and learning using methods developed in special programs for gifted students to improve the quality of education for all children.
The institute, which is sponsored by the University of Connecticut and the Connecticut Department of Education, is intended for gifted education teachers, art or music teachers, curriculum specialists, school administrators, and school psychologists or counselors.
Participants may earn either academic credit or continuing education units. The deadline for registration is June 21. For more information or to register, call (860) 486-4905.
