STORRS, Conn. -- For the third consecutive year, the University of Connecticut's full-time MBA program has been selected by the Princeton Review as one of the best in the country.

UConn was in the top 8 percent of all the business schools reviewed by the board. It is in the top 20 percent of nationally accredited programs, according to Thomas Gutteridge, dean of the School of Business Administration.

A survey conducted by the review board found that 72 percent of students enrolled in the school said they are convinced it is exceeding their academic expectations. These students rate themselves as strong in finance, accounting and general management, which are UConn's strongest subjects. Job placement in accounting and finance is especially high.

While the programs deserve praise, the students also give their fellow students good marks. Eighty-four percent of the students say their classmates "are not only very bright, but have diverse work experiences."
