STAMFORD, Conn.— The new director of the Stamford campus of the University
of Connecticut will be welcomed at a reception for the community on Thursday,
March 3, from 5-7 p.m. in the Gen Re Auditorium.
Remarks will be made by President Philip E. Austin and Mayor Dannel P. Malloy,
as well as by Michael Ego, who became the associate vice provost for the campus
Displays will be set up showcasing the research and activities of the campus,
including a display of books by faculty authors.
